Clivi “Brazan Vineyard” Bianco – BIODYNAMIC
Estate History: I Clivi founder Ferdinando Zanusso was raised in the world of wine, his father made wine for his tavern in Treviso, in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia. After travelling and spending time in Paris, Ferdinando purchased a vineyard in Friuli in 1996 and soon after his son Mario, now at the helm of the estate, joined him. Vineyards are all worked by hand, dry farmed and certified organic, with vines from 50 to 80 years old.
The wine is 90% Friulano, 10% Malvasia Istriana from 80 year old vines from the “Brazan” Vineyard in Brazzano di Cormons, along the Slovenian Borde & Friuli.

Foucher Lebrun Chardonnay Petit Le Mont -Touraine, France – ORGANIC
Foucher-Lebrun is a “petit négociant” located 30 km northeast of Sancerre in the village of Aligny-Cosne. Founded in 1921 by Paul Lebrun, the business continued with his son-in-law Raymond Foucher, who was then succeeded by his son Jacky Foucher in 1985.
Kevin’s Notes – Our search for value oriented, hand-crafted wines led us to this wonderful ORGANIC French Chardonnay. Fresh aromatics of apple and stone fruit create a mouth-watering taste of pear with bright acidity. This is NOT an oaky Chardonnay. Cooper’s Price $15.99 Mixed Case $12.79
Curii Una Noche y un Dia Garnacha of Alicante – ORGANIC
Curii Uvas y Vinos is the winemaking project of Violeta Gutiérrez de la Vega and her partner Alberto Redrado. The couple aims to restore old parcels around Alicante to grow romantic Mediterranean wines organically and with minimal intervention. Una Noche y Un Día is made from 100% Giró, a clone of Garnacha local to Alicante, that’s partially destemmed and foot-trodden in open vats with native yeast fermentation.
Taste – Fresh and vibrant, it has aromas of citrus flowers, anise, and plum, on the palate it’s dry with a medium body and notes of spice and red fruits.
Kevin’s Notes – Great pairing for this holiday as well as fruit compote dressed pork chops, roasted chicken and most any spice driven meal as the fruit of this wine will stand up well with its subtle tannins. LOVE THIS WINE !

‘Anatomy No. 1’ Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2020
French winemaker Philippe Langner brings a touch of Bordeaux to Napa for a more restrained though still very engaging style of Cabernet. The nose opens with nicely ripe black fruits – think blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry – plus a subtly oaky nose of smoke, black pepper, and cloves. Bright, refreshing acidity on the palate adds to the overall approachability. A serious “Hillside” style of Cabernet that makes for a great everyday drinking Napa Cab.
WINEMAKER’S NOTES:
Blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and 4% Syrah. This wine was produced from the following Sub AVAs : 44% Rutherford, 21% Coombsville, 11% Atlas Peak, 8.6% Sonoma county, 7.1% Yountville, 4.1% Sonoma Mountain, 4.2% Saint Helena. The wine is medium bodied with crisp aromas of blackberry, cranberry, licorice, sweet oak and coffee.
