Herencia Altes Garnatxa Blanca, Spain – Made from a mix of old and young vines grown on sandy and chalky soils around the village of Batea, the Garnatxa Blanca from Herencia Altes is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness of this wine but with lees stirring to add a little extra weight.
Tasting Notes –A Fresh, vivid white with lemon and pear-drop aromas and flavors. Medium body, fresh acidity and a creamy texture. An attractive white with dusty and stony-soil character. Drink now. Cooper’s Price: $16.99/Mix-n-Match $13.59
Jolie Laide Pinot Gris, Sonoma, Cali – A new blend of two vineyards; Vista Verde vineyard complimented beautifully with Glen Oaks vineyard that has been a staple in our Pinot Gris for years. Vista Verde vineyard boasts 1000ft elevation with gravelly loam and limestone fracture soils located in the cool valleys and canyons of San Benito County. East of the Gabilan Mountains in Monterey County, this area has a strong marine influence due to its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Glen Oaks is a historic vineyard in Sonoma County with deep rocky alluvial soils. Pinot Gris thrives in a mini microclimate at the bottom swath of a 30+ year old Cabernet Sauvignon block, planted as a sort of frost protection.
Picked early to preserve acidity and crushed by foot for a 2-day whole cluster cold soak which adds phenolic texture while lending a beautiful rosé Champagne-like color. All wild ferment in a combination of stainless and neutral oak puncheons then aged in neutral barrique.

Ruth Lewandowski Feints 2021 Fox Hill Vineyard, Red Blend, Mendocino
From the Winemaker – Vintage 2021 was a remarkably low-yielding year in many of our prized Mendocino vineyards. As a result, we got über creative, seeking out a few new and incredibly intriguing fruit opportunities, marrying a dizzying array of carbonic reds and whites to support and highlight the Piemontese varieties we’ve all come to know and love with this one. Of course, the vast majority of the blend remains the beloved Fox Hill Vineyard Arneis, Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo in a carbonic co-ferment. If you’re a die hard Feints lover, fear not. This one is frighteningly fresh bright and altogether Feints through and through. I really hope someone wrote down what we did with this one so we can do it again!
Tasting Notes – Succulent red of light weight, sticky tannins, sour red berry fruit, licks of cola, root beer, alpine herbs and sweet earthiness. Frey Biodynamic Red Field Blend, Mendocino
The goal with Field Blend was to produce a Biodynamic example of terroir at its finest expression, where location, varietal character, and vintage culminate in an authentic representation of our vineyards. Field Blend succinctly expresses the Biodynamic intercropping and low-impact vinting methods employed to create this wine. Following the Biodynamic winemaking tenants of farming with nature, without pesticides, zero-manipulation in the cellar, and only native yeast used for fermentation, the results are pure, pared-down flavors with no interference between you and the grapes.
Tasting Notes – Taut boysenberry and a vein of graphite lend tannic structure to our rendition of a Côtes du Rhône blend, while ripe blackberry and soft saddle leather dance on the midpalate. Dusty ruby color. Smoky aromas and flavors of grilled berries, beets, nuts, tobacco, and smoke with a satiny, dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full body and a smooth, interesting, medium-long finish displaying touches of roasted agave, dried dates, and almond skin with well-integrated, chewy tannins and moderate oak flavor.
