Lola Kay Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2015
The grapes are sourced from handpicked estate vineyards in the heart of Napa Valley’s St Helena and Carneros regions. The area produces Sauvignon Blanc grapes with exceptional mineral and fruit character and sense of place – in keeping with our mission to make wines that are distinctively delicious.
The 2015 LK SB is a fresh, crisp, no-oak expression of deliciousness. Bright and light flavors of white peach, honeydew and flinty meyer lemon balance nicely with lovely aromas of ripe peach, and grapefruit.
The ultra low-yield 2015 Napa Valley growing season gave the grapes a pronounced freshness and satisfying balance. Not too heavy, not too light. Just right.
PAIRINGS: Sauvignon Blanc is a delightfully versatile white wine, matching well with many foods and settings. Soft, creamy cheeses and dishes with herbs such as parsley, thyme, mint and rosemary make for a perfect pairing every time.

Pence Ranch Chardonnay Santa Barbara 2014
Marked by unwavering standards for winemaking and farming. Towards this end, Pence Ranch has established the highest aspirations for their vineyard and wine program. Their philosophy is a non-interventionist, site-driven one. Pence Ranch strives for honesty and elegance in their wines, reflecting the beautiful landscape where the grapes are grown, the richness of the clay soils feeding their roots, and the abundant sunshine that provides life’s energy. The colors, aromas, and flavors in each bottle are the pure manifestation of our vineyard and our efforts to support it.
Tasting Notes: Shy at first on the nose, this wine from just east of the Sta. Rita Hills boundary winds up offering a very pretty if delicate nose of lime, and a touch of popcorn hidden in the background. It’s high-toned and bright on the palate, with limestone, gray slate and lime-peel flavors, quite refreshing with each sip.

Clayhouse Paso Robles Cabernet 2014
Our winery is ideally suited to small-lot winemaking, which is essential for that broad palette of varietal aromas and flavors we receive from Red Cedar Vineyard. All of our wines are made from that single vineyard source: Clayhouse and Adobe wines are inspired by, and entirely sourced from, Red Cedar Vineyard.
At the winery individual vineyard lots are received and fermented separately, in bin, barrel, and tank. We farm the grapes for specific flavors… so, similarly, we ferment and mature each wine to make full use of each vineyard block’s unique characteristics.
Our barrel room holds both French and American oak barrels, and few larger oak puncheons. We use barrels for both aging, allowing the winemaker fine control over adding aromatic hints of spice and vanilla, in addition to mellowing and rounding full-bodied red wines.
Tasting Notes: Deep purple / dark red color. Aromas of dark Bing cherries and black currents, with hints of cedar and sweet vanilla. The wine is full-bodied. It has sweet black cherry and ripe plum fruit flavors with licorice undertones. This Cabernet Sauvignon has tannins that are rounded and smooth. It finishes with warm toasty notes.
