Château du Coudray Montpensier Chinon Rose – This rose, from France’s Loire Valley, is made of 100% Cabernet Franc grapes from 13-45 year old vines in alluvial sand and chalky clay. Harvested in late September, this is a direct press wine, which is enough to get the clear pale rosé color. The fermentation is much like a white wine at low temperature (65 to 68°F). It is a clear pale orange color with floral and citrus notes. Dry and very aromatic, combining the complexity of a red wine with the liveliness and brightness of a white; it is soft and perfumed, with good weight and presence, and finishes on crisp and gentle notes. It will pair well with BBQ, salads, pizza, or any light lunch. Great on its own as well!

Ant Moore Sauvignon Blanc – Anthony “Ant” Moore is a grape grower, a wine maker, and an entrepreneur through and through. An Australian outsider in New Zealand, he has built not only his own winery, but also saw a need to add a custom crush facility to help other small growers, making him a central figure among independent winemakers in Marlborough. Ant moved to New Zealand in 2002 after working a few vintages in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. He oversees everything on his properties from initial site selection to farming, harvesting, and working in the cellar. He is rather unique in that so many estates in the region are run by large companies while he and his family maintain control of their venture. This Sauv Blanc is youthful and fragrant, the attractive bouquet shows stone fruit, feijoa, lime zest and subtle herbaceous characters. The palate is lively and juicy, and offers lovely fruit intensity backed by bright acidity. Very expressive and highly enjoyable!
